Georgetown in Brief

Georgetown is located on the north-east corner of Penang Island in Malaysia and is its capital. The city was founded at the end of the 18th century and was named after Britain's King George III. Together with Melaka it was listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 2008. Georgetown is famous for its nightlife, there are lots of discos in the city such as Baywatch Beach Club.
